What Is a FIT Tech Apprenticeship?
A FIT Tech Apprenticeship provides a two-year, industry-led training programme where you earn while you learn. Apprentices split their time between off-the-job training delivered by Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and on-the-job experience with an employer. By the end of the programme, you’ll achieve a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate and a strong foundation of workplace experience.
The 2026 intake includes four programmes:
- Software Development
- Computer Networking
- Cybersecurity
- Data Analytics (new for 2026 – subject to QQI Validation)
