Tech Fest | The Future of Tech Talent Panel Highlights

FIT were thrilled to be exhibitors and sponsors for the Tech Fest Expo in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, on Thursday 15th May 2025.

FIT’s Senior Tech Apprenticeship Officer, Jessica McKeown, took part in an engaging and insightful panel discussion on the day: “The Future of Tech Talent”, demonstrating why SME’s and large corporations nationwide are opting for the Tech Apprenticeship route over traditional hiring methods.

The panel was facilitated by Jon Kelleher, Deloitte, and Jessica was joined by Aisling O’Mahony MTU, Dan Hoctor Barden Ireland, and Kevin Keohan from PepsiCo.
