At FIT (Fastrack into Information Technology), we are always proud of the dedication and expertise of our team, but now, we have extra reason to celebrate. Two of our exceptional team members, Gemma Cassidy and Clodagh Kearns, have been nominated in the Employer of the Year Awards for their outstanding contribution to supporting Tech Apprentices.
Their role is vital: they guide candidates as they take their first steps into a tech apprenticeship and continue to support them throughout the two-year programme. From helping apprentices navigate challenges to celebrating their achievements, they ensure every candidate has the tools, guidance, and confidence to succeed. Their nomination is a testament to the incredible impact FIT’s team has in shaping the next generation of tech talent.
Apprenticeship programmes like FIT’s are about more than learning technical skills – they’re about mentorship, support, and building confidence. Gemma and Clodagh exemplify that ethos every day, making a real difference in the lives and careers of those they support.
