Navan VTOS E-Business

Course Aim

This course is Business Technology based, accredited at QQI level 5 and will suit people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

It is designed to allow you to gain a solid knowledge of the principles and practice of e-Business in order to gain employment in the business sector or to prepare for entry into Further or Third Level education.

This course is also particularly suited to those interested in setting up their own business as it will help you to develop your business ideas and entrepreneurial skills, and to explore how to exploit all the advantages that being on-line can bring to a new business.

You will participate in the annual Meath Enterprise Week Event where you will have the opportunity to forge links with local employers and entrepreneurs. You will also help to organise an e-Business seminar event in VTOS run in conjunction with the Meath Enterprise Centre.

Requirements

Education: NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme. CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English.
Aptitude: Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Previous Experience: Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
