Course Aim

Ethical hacking is the process of testing a system’s networks for vulnerabilities against any malicious threats, thefts, or attacks that may lead to financial loss or other damages to the system. Our course is designed to introduce students to practical software and security understanding through hands-on workshops and an exploration of the social engineering perspectives of the cyberworld. Please note that modules listed are subject to change.

Requirements

  • You should be at least 17 years of age.
  • One references must be uploaded to your online application page.
  • Leaving Certificate standard is required; or Pass Level (120 credits) in the Leaving Certificate Applied. Individual courses may have specific additional requirements. These will be outlined in the course descriptions for each course.
  • Relevant work experience or training will be considered.
