Leaving Cert Results 2026: Supports for Neurodiverse and Disabled Learners into Tech Careers

For many students, Leaving Cert Results Day brings a mix of excitement, uncertainty and big decisions about what comes next.

Some students are celebrating CAO offers, while others may be exploring alternatives to college, PLC courses, Further Education and Training (FET), apprenticeships or employment opportunities. For neurodiverse and disabled students, these decisions can feel even more overwhelming.

FIT’s Cuimsiú (pronounced: kwim-shoo) programme provides additional supports to help neurodiverse and disabled learners build confidence, access training and progress towards rewarding careers in tech.

Who can benefit from Cuimsiú?

Cuimsiú supports anyone who identifies as neurodiverse or disabled. Participants can be over the age of 16 years and it provides 1:1 supports tailored to their needs.
