Course Aim
FIT, WEEE Ireland, and the White Goods Association have come together to create a curriculum and formal career pathway for field service technicians to attract new entrants and create a steady supply into the sector to address a growing requirement with regard to maintenance, repair and recycling of white goods.
This initiative will help to kickstart a change in the electrical repair culture in Ireland with this first-of-a-kind training programme, designed to free the bottleneck that has arisen, with no new technicians due to limited access to structured training programmes. It will open up a new and rewarding career for women and men who have interest in prolonging the life-cycle of our white goods in the interest of sustainability, reduced waste and environmental wellbeing career in the technology sector.

Requirements
- Must have completed a Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Must have full clean driving license
