Course Aim

This course is intended for students who have an interest in the strategic and practical areas of business and marketing.  The marketing and public relations landscape is changing with the development of Social Media and its use by many organisations, and students will learn to compete in this landscape.  Modern business practices using relevant innovative technologies are at the core of this course.

Students will gain applied experience by assisting in marketing initiatives, organising events, attending workshops, and completing a two-week work placement programme.  They will acquire industry insights from guest speakers.  This Pre-University course is an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue Higher Education degree programmes in TCD, UCD, DCU, NUI Maynooth and other colleges.

• For Mature Applicants (aged 21 or over) – appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
