Course Aim

Software Development – IT Traineeship

Until September 2021, this course will be 100% online – It will be blended afterwards (1-2 days per week based in Carlow, 9am-4.15pm)

QQI Level 6 Major Award in Software Development
98-366 – Microsoft Technology Associate-Network Fundamentals
98-349 – Microsoft Technology Associate – Windows Operating System Fundamentals

Assessments will be a combination of assignments and examinations
Assessments completed at the end of each module with results provided shortly afterwards

Progression

Upon Successful Course Completion This course can be standalone with learners entering the IT entry upon completion Successful completion will guarantee learners in Year 2 of IT Carlow; BSc. Software Developer BSc. In Cybercrime and IT Security BSc. In IT Management

Requirements

No previous experience/education required

Over 18’s only
