Marino College Health Service Skills

Course Aim

This one year, part-time, level 5 course is QQI Accredited. It is designed to provide adults who are unemployed the opportunity of a career change whilst returning to education and retaining their benefits. Students will acquire knowledge and develop skills with an overall competence and confidence to work in the provision of holistic care in a variety of healthcare settings. A work experience placement is a key element of the course and contributes to the Student Health Care Assistants learning and professional development. Care of the Older Person
