Course Aims


Course Overview The course is aimed at those who wish to explore opportunities in the rapidly expanding games industry. The course covers key computing skills and game development techniques. Game developers create games for entertainment (consoles, mobile and web) and work in areas such as software development, training and education.

Progression to Further Education and Higher Education

Progression into Level 6 in Advanced Software Development at KCFE. Students who successfully complete this course may progress into many Level 6, 7 and 8 (Higher Certificate, Ordinary Degrees and Honours Degree) courses in various Institutes of Technology and Universities throughout the country.

Employment Prospects

Students gain skills to engage with this innovative industry. With developments in mobile apps, web development and the growth in gaming, there are huge opportunities to gain employment in an industry where there is a shortfall of qualified graduates.
