Course Aims


This course is designed to provide students with computerised skills for work in the modern office environment.  On successful completion of this course students will be able to use computers in the workplace, thus encouraging students to become independent, confident computer users.   Students will be introduced and trained in the production of many business documents, Internet & Email.

Requirements


VTOS (Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme). The VTOS scheme provides a range of courses to meet the education and training needs of unemployed people. If you are over 21 years of age and in receipt of a social welfare payment for more than 156 days you may be eligible to take part in a VTOS course.  Courses are FREE for those who qualify.  Students may qualify for a subsidised childcare for their child(ren) through Childcare Employment and Training Support (CETS) Scheme.
