Course Aims


This QQI award Level 5 Certificate course will qualify graduates to work in the rapidly expanding areas of eBusiness and on-line customer service. Students will acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work in office administration and in a range of customer contact centre settings. Students will learn essential business administration skills, attain competence in a range of Microsoft Office 2010 applications, and develop their communication and customer service skills.

Requirements


All VTOS applicants must be over 21 and in receipt of or a dependent of a Social Protection payment for at least 6 months before starting the course. Participation in a CE or FAS scheme counts in the calculation of six months once you must be in receipt of a relevant Social Protection payment immediately before starting the course.All applicants who present for this course will be given individual guidance by qualified tutors who are in a position to make recommendations as to what courses may suit their learning needs.

You may also be eligible to avail of a Back to Education Allowance (BTEA). The BTEA is an educational opportunities scheme for persons in receipt of certain social welfare payments and who wish to pursue an approved full-time second or third level course of education in an approved college leading to a recognised qualification.
