Course Aims


This is a one-year course/programme prepares students for further study or careers in Digital Marketing, eBusiness, e-Commerce, Web development and Social media.

Student work with a real business, setting up an on-line Digital Marketing Campaign to advertise the business. This course develops a broad range of knowledge covering the use of Web technology and general IT in business. Digital businesses and online marketing are becoming increasingly significant. Graduates from our Social Media & Web Design Programme would be ideally suited for organisations who wish to recruit students with up-to-date Digital Marketing skills. On successful completion of this programme, graduates would have the skills to assist in developing a business online Digital Marketing strategy, to include design and management of the Digital Marketing Campaign by using various online Social Media e-tools, e-Mail Marketing and designing Web pages.

Requirements


This is a PLC course and college fees apply for this course however if you are in receipt of a social welfare payment you may be eligible for a fee reduction.

You may also be eligible to avail of a Back to Education Allowance (BTEA). The BTEA is an educational opportunities scheme for persons in receipt of certain social welfare payments and who wish to pursue an approved full-time second or third level course of education in an approved college leading to a recognised qualification.
